Initial inspections are like first impressions. They really do count!! That is why our team performs detailed moisture inspections with moisture mapping, relative humidity charting, as well as swab testing to identify what specific growth(s) is present on the loss.
Pre/Post Mold Remediation Testing
In order to properly perform a Mold remediation you will need an Air quality test or a Mold Assessment. Commonly known as the pre test, this step is taken first to provide the specific counts of spores in the air, type of growth associated with the damage and a blueprint of steps to remove growth properly. This step allows you to now receive detailed estimates from your remediation professionals or insurance provider. The final air test is the PRV or Post Remediation Verification. This is performed at the end of the remediation to TEST the remediation process to ensure that the Air and surfaces are clear of growth. These tests are covered by most insurance policies as they provide the final clearance.
